Module 1 - The First Map

In this week's assignment, I reviewed GIS basics and created my first map with ArcGIS Pro. The map above features cities and countries on a global map. I used a single color purple gradient to show the countries and a small black circle symbol to show each city on a National Geographic style basemap.

Creating this first map allowed room for individualization and creativity. This was a great first run-through of GIS basics for working with data and creating a map layout.
